eNcircle is currently available at handango.com and pocketgear.com

We recommend that you download the demo version to check for compatibility with your device.
If the demo works, get the real thing (it’s a lot more fun and has extra secret bonus features).

What systems does eNcircle play on?

eNcircle is built to play on handheld devices using PocketPC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003.
While the game has been tested on a number of devices, we haven’t tried it on all of them.
We recommend you download the demo version first and try it on your device to make sure it is compatible.
There is no Palm or Desktop PC version available yet.
Please let us know if you are interested in having a copy for these platforms.

Is there a demo version available?

There certainly is. Go and grab it from:
Handango here >>>   or
PocketGear here>>>>

The demo version gives you four tile sets to choose from and will let you play up to level three.
(it gets very interesting at level 4, so if you can play the demo, come and get the real thing).

How do I install eNcircle on my device?

Unzip the file you download when you get the demo or full version of eNcircle.

There’s a help.txt file there that has full installation instructions.

Where are the ghost levels?

That’s a secret.

You’ll know one when you see it.

Let’s just say that you’ll need to be a pretty good player to see one, and a very good player to see more than one.
If you do see one, be proud. Brag about it to your friends.
If it defeats you, get back on that horse and try again.

Who’s got the highest score?

We’re not too sure about that.
Adam has a good score, but he programmed the game (so who knows what secrets he knows about).
Fischer had a pretty good score too, but he designed it, so that’s not surprising either.

What’s your highest score?
If you think you have a score to be proud of, let us know at ncircleScore @ bitlabs.com

What’s the difference between the four tile sets?

If you are new to eNcircle, the red set may be a little easier to play with.
Each tile in the red set has more clearly defined edges, so you may find it easier to see what’s going on. The other sets are a little more seamless, so a little trickier.
They all have the same features and prizes though, so they are really just there for fun.

I can’t decide if the gold and silver one or the purple one is my favourite.

Are there more tile sets?

Four isn’t enough?

There are only four sets you can choose from at the moment.

But, you’ll see different ones if you progress far enough into the game.

Is it true one of the developers died making the game?

No.

Hollywood would like you to believe that games programmers are dangerous-living, adventurous, sexy, action-hero-type figures, laying down their lives for a piece of code if necessary.

So would we.

FAQ

How many combos can you get in one move?

You make a combo (and get a bonus for it) when you make a shape whose disappearance causes another shape to be made (and then disappear).
Combos aren't reliant on luck - you can set them up. Once you figure out how, you'll be doing it all the time.
Then, try and work out some multi-combos (where creating one shape causes 2 or more shapes to be made). Can you do a 2X combo? What about a 3X combo? In the early levels it's possible to go higher than that.
We won't tell you exactly how many - but it's more than 4.
